Prof Shirley Reynolds

Clinical psychologist, researcher and author.
During my fourth year of studies, we had a great lecturer who talked about ‘giving psychology away’ – for free. Even then, he told us that there are too many people that need psychologists, and that we would never meet the demand. He challenged us to think about models of delivery: about how we deliver psychology and who we do it through. It was really inspiring, with big picture ideas. I was lucky to be taught by inspiring people who were way ahead of their time, who helped shape my thinking.
