CK Summary of 2022
As this year comes to a close, one of my final tasks has been to sit in interviews with young people who will join our team in 2023 and these words keep coming to mind:
“Clear lots of ground for your tents. Make your tents large. Spread out. Think big. Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You’re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family.”
Another of my final tasks has been to cross check our provisional figures. The funds received, the projects enabled and the well-being created. An enormous year summarised into a neat row of numbers. Our bucket has been filled with a great volume of goodwill and, as quickly as it has filled, we have been able to pour out care, comfort, kindness and counsel. Thank you. Thank you very much for being kind.
