COMMUNITY KEEPERS has been entrusted with the responsibility of being an implementation partner of the GBVF Response Fund launched by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Gender-based violence campaigns form part of our core programmes in schools.

In 2020 we received GBV-specific grant funding from the National Development Agency, in 2021 we received a grant from The Solidarity Fund, and this new funding from GBVF Response Fund1 for 2022 and 2023 enables us to continue making an impact in schools.

// “In just ten short months since the GBVF Response Fund1’s inception, we have received close to R200 million in pledges. Today, we’re pleased to announce that around R69 million will go towards funding the programmes of 110 high-impact community-based organisations and intermediaries, after a rigorous RFP process. We would like to thank our donors for making this possible, and also our grant partners who will continue to provide the much-needed programmes and interventions to women, children and LGBTQIA+ persons across the country.”
