Child Protection Awareness: Helping Learners Find Their Voice
In May, we dressed in green and filled our schools with posters and resources to mark Child Protection Awareness Month. Campaigns like this are more than symbolic.
During this time, we often see a rise in referrals as learners find the courage to speak out. Through our various awareness activities and resources, they begin to recognise that some behaviours and circumstances they once thought ‘normal’ or not important enough to share, are actually harmful and ‘not OK’. More importantly, they learn that they are not alone and that help is available.
