EDUCATIONAL, CLINICAL, COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGISTS

Community Keepers delivers psycho-social services to primary and high school learners across Cape Town and the Cape Winelands.  We deliver a variety of services to learners including assessments, counselling, therapy, life skills programmes, parenting workshops and more.

We are accepting applications for:
• Registered Clinical, Counselling and Educational Psychologists in Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Cape Town.

These are part-time positions (6-18 hours a week depending on capacity).

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Providing individual and/or group therapy; obtaining collateral; giving feedback and recording of data
• Maintaining relationships with learners, educators and parents
• Group supervision to staff

Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification.
• Registered with the HPCSA as a Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychologist.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in counselling children and sound ethical principles of practice.
• Knowledge in the development of creative approaches for interventions for individual and school development.
• Outstanding administrative skills.
• Natural ability to build strategic relationships and interact with individuals of different backgrounds.
• Passion for teamwork and community-based interventions.
• Capability to represent the values and ethos of the organization.

The successful candidates will be based at Community Keepers offices at primary and/or high schools in Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Cape Town. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible.
